A New Year!

I can't believe it's 2011!!! It seems each year goes by faster and faster. We had a busy end of the year. We celebrated Thanksgiving as usual with all our families, but then for Christmas we went to Florida with Kyle's family and it was gorgeous there! I can't wait to go back, but next time on a plane lol. We spent 4 days just driving there and back and had 4 days of leisure. Please look through the pics under the "Newest albums" link to the left and enjoy! We came back a day early because of the supposed winter storm MO was to have, but then we didn't get it lol. Oh well, it was good to get back and rest more. Plus, we had 3 more dinners to enjoy with our other families, so that was nice to get everything ready. Then I started my NEW JOB on that following Monday! Yep, you heard me right. I went from staying at home to working 40 hours a week lol. It's been quite the adjustment and to tell you the truth, I haven't stuck to a routine yet. I'm trying though. I work as a 18-24 month old teacher with another girl and it's a lot of fun! I also get to work with one of my best friends, who is one of the directors there, so that's cool!! It's the perfect job for me because it's only 5 minutes down the road AND the girls get to come after school for free, so it's nice! It saves on eating out because I get to go home for lunch. :-) For New Year's we spent the evening at a dance party and that was a blast! Now Valentine's is just around the corner. See? This year is already flying by! The girls are doing great in school as usual and they love to come to the daycare! They didn't have school this last week, except Friday because of the Winter Weather we had. First snow, then severe cold weather. They are off again on Monday for Martin Luther King Day and Belle gets to go on a field trip with her daycare class! Well, that's all for now.
