Well, as u all know today is Violet's birthday! I was planning to take the girls to the park and have a fun day before the appt, but it RAINED. Hopefully I can take them tom. some time. Oh well....at least they were able to play w/ their new rubber balls I got them. :-) Neway, my mom watched Belle while I took Vi to her appt and she had to get 2 shots....what a sad present! Her dr said she looked perfect and to come back at 18 months. She weighs 22 pounds (70% range) and is 30 1/2 in. tall (90% range). Her ears were clear PTL, her heart sounded great, her reflexes were good, and everything else was awesome! Dr. Henschell said it was ok to start her on whole milk now AND fish, honey, etc. She should be getting 16 oz. of milk a day and getting a good variety of fruits, veggies, meat, etc. Believe me....she DOES!!!! LOL She also reminded me to be careful that she doesn't choke on food, to put lots of sunscreen on, as the hotter months are coming, etc. Neway, it was an all-around great appt, except for the shots. I always hate that part, but she only seems to cry for a min. or less. Besides that, she's had a good b.d. and I'm sure she'll love her party!!! I'll get more pics later.
