September already?!

Wow this summer flew by!!! You can definitely tell summer is gone b/c of the beautiful Fall weather we've had lately. Technically it doesn't start for another 3 weeks, but hey I'm ok w/ early weather. :-) Fall is one of my favorite times of the year, not only b/c of the weather, but b/c of my bd and anniversary hehe. I can't believe that tomorrow my baby is turning 6 and she's in Kindergarten!!! Time goes by wayy too fast, doesn't it? Anyway, school is in full swing now and has been going for a couple weeks now. Belle LOVES her new school and likes to wear her uniforms. She loves her Tinkerbell backpack and lunchbox and she's finally eating ALL of her lunch PTL! She looks so grown up walking into her classroom with her bag on her back and putting her folders in her cubby. :-) This year the theme for their class is a stoplight. At the end of the day, their teacher puts a mark on their agendas for that day. Green means they've had a good day, yellow means they needed improvement and red means they didn't have a good day. Belle has gotten green everyday so far, so I'm proud of her! She's also learning how to write in cursive and speaking French. She's learned to say hello, goodbye, and #'s 1-6. Also, she's learned how to write the vowels in cursive and she's doing pretty good. Anyway, tomorrow I'm going to take in mini cupcakes for her to share with her class, since it's her bd, so she's looking forward to that! I'm hoping to go to a movie and dinner tomorrow night for mine. Hehe. Well, I hope everyone had a great summer and is looking forward to football, chili, and warm blankets!! I know I am. :-)
